TEHRAN – A member of the presiding board of Iran’s parliament has announced that the swearing-in ceremony of President-elect Hassan Rouhani will be held on August 6 in the parliament.

The president-elect will receive his presidential precept from the leader of the revolution a few days before the swearing-in ceremony, Ahmad Amir-Abadi said on Tuesday.

He also said that after the swearing-in ceremony, the president will have two weeks to introduce his cabinet to the parliament.
